I think she was getting bored with my stories, so she started creating her own:

It wouldn’t be Christmas if Bailey didn’t get to open more gifts with Great Grandparents:

and spend time with her favorite Great Uncle, Uncle Tom…

For those of you who hadn’t heard, Aunt GiGi’s husband Tom passed away recently. At 67 years young, his passing was certainly unexpected and a shock. He is greatly missed — Bailey still asks about him and when she’ll see him next. 🙁

After a short flight up to Bedford, VA to see Mommy ‘Resa and Daddy Joe, Bailey gets her first opportunity to play with the family goats…

and visit with her cousins Rylie Mae and Matt…

Christmas morning was a flurry of activity.

I think I got to the camera too late, as Bailey had already ripped open most of her gifts and was giving them a test run.

Including her Hello Kitty protective gear and Cinderella fingernail polish:

After 30 minutes of “some assembly required,” Bailey plays with her Cinderella vanity:
