Christmas #3

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

It wouldn’t be Christmas if Bailey didn’t get to open more gifts with Great Grandparents:

and help Aunt GiGi with her presents…

and spend time with her favorite Great Uncle, Uncle Tom…

For those of you who hadn’t heard, Aunt GiGi’s husband Tom passed away recently. At 67 years young, his passing was certainly unexpected and a shock. He is greatly missed — Bailey still asks about him and when she’ll see him next. 🙁

Christmas Eve Gifts

Time to start openin’ some presents!

We couldn’t wait until Christmas Day to open them all — we had to get a head start the evening prior.

Dunno why Bailey wanted to wear her cow costume. You think we could have put one of her thousands of Christmas-themed outfits. Oh well, here she is starting to dig in:

Bailey had been asking for a new “kitchen” for Christmas. So, of course, the Grandparents had to spoil her.

Amy and I still laugh about her surprise and reaction: “It’s… it’s… it’s… KITCHEN!”

and Jeff gets…

a new Martin guitar now known affectionately as “Blondie.”

Grandparents’ Birthdays

Saturday, October 13th, 2007

Murl & Sue’s Birdays are a couple of weeks apart.

First, we went up to Cleveland, GA to suprise Grandaddy with a visit and a birthday gift (a new guitar!). Though I snapped many photos of the event, all were too blurry to post (sorry Murl!).

However, we did get some good photos of Grandmommy’s Birthday celebration:

Here’s Bailey trying on someone else’s Birthday gift:

Bailey’s 2nd Birthday!

On Bailey’s second Birthday we hosted a small shin-dig — inviting just family.

Here’s Bailey posing with all of her Birthday loot:

and pictures of her playing with her new toys:

Off to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Sunday, May 27th, 2007

Amy & I had never been, so we thought it’d be a good idea to take Bailey (Mom & Dad) to the Gardens for a visit.

Here’s Bailey’s new favorite thing to do… ride the escalator:

Water!

Bug Sculpture?

Orchids!
