Grandmommy and Grandaddy Jones offered to watch the little one while we had a night out on the town to celebrate our 4th Anniversary.

Here we are getting ready to leave Bailey Bug in the capable hands of the Grandparents:

After departing, we were ten minutes down the road without Bailey and Amy had to call home to “check in” and make sure everything was “OK…”

We had an early dinner reservation at Chops, one of Atlanta’s nicest steakhouses. We used a gift card that Uncle Jason & Aunt Melissa had given us quite some time ago (gotta love the “no expiration date”)… thanks Mel & Jas!!!

Regardless, the food was great as was the Red Velvet Anniversary cake…

Our neighbor Debbie Hogan made Amy a bracelet which has now become Amy’s favorite piece of jewelry. You can see why here:

Debbie’s now taking new orders and can turn around requests in a couple of days. If demand continues to grow, she may have to start a sweatshop in her basement.

Great news for me since this puts off Amy’s purchase of a tennis bracelet for at least six months. Thanks Debbie!!!

OK… our ritual hasn’t changed in 5 weeks. Dinner time comes fast… without the proper meal preparation time, we have no choice but to eat out (according to Amy).
